Wireless wearable solution for biomedical signals acquisition
wearables
This project objective is the development of a wireless, wearable, and low-cost system for capturing surface bioelectric potential and its transmission. The best-known technique for the diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases is the electrocardiogram (ECG), which provides a non-invasive record of the heart instantaneous electrical activity. In the beginning, we will develop the system to perform ECGs. In the future, it will turn into a wearable platform with the inclusion of other vital signs sensors. The development is the result of a partnership between Scinntech, the Micromanufacturing Laboratory (LMI) of the Institue for Technological Research of the State of São Paulo (IPT), and the Bioengineering Division of the Heart Institute (Incor) of the School of Medicine of University of São Paulo. The Innovative Research in Small Companies program (PIPE) from São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) funds the project, grant #2018/00486-4.
